Mindfulness 8 week Course for IndividualsI offer the mindfulness based stress reduction course on a one to one basis or with two individuals who want to come together. This may suit those who do not like being in a group or where the group course isn't runnung at a convenient time for their life circumstances. I will run the course from the location I hold my counselling service in, which is a discreet therapy centre in the city of Peterborough.
The course will be experiential and participants should expect to engage in 45 minutes of meditation during the session. We will have a chance to explore the process of meditation afterwards and each week a short taught lesson will be given, homework will be set each week.
You should expect to commit to 45 minutes each day outside of the course for home practice. Each weekly session will last for one hour and fifteen minutes.
